This project is a sustainable lakefront weekend home on Ashtamudi Lake, designed with a minimal footprint to create an eco-friendly retreat in the tropics. The house integrates upcycled materials and reclaimed components from a former structure, preserving traces of the original design while introducing new spatial volumes that meet modern functional needs. Situated on a terraced hill overlooking the lake, this nature-integrated home offers a low-impact, environmentally-conscious architecture, blending seamlessly with its natural surroundings. Existing tropical trees were carefully preserved and incorporated into the design, enhancing the home’s connection to the landscape and making it a truly unique lakeside getaway.
How is this homestay different?
Pearl Casa Homestay is redefining sustainable design by upcycling materials from a dilapidated structure, creating a seamless blend of conservation and innovation. Embracing Derrida’s “Différance,” it is balancing fluid curved spaces with structural grids, fostering harmonious indoor-outdoor connections. The design retains tropical trees and incorporates eco-friendly materials like reclaimed tiles and concrete, actively reducing its carbon footprint. Transportation:

Cancellation & Payment Policy
Payment Terms:
- Guests are required to pay 50% of the total room rate at the time of booking to confirm their reservation.
Cancellation Policy:
- More than 7 days before check-in: Guests will receive a 90% refund (10% of the total room rate will be retained).
- 2–7 days before check-in: Guests will receive a 70% refund (30% of the total room rate will be retained).
- Less than 2 days before check-in: No refund will be provided.
Additional Information:
- The remaining 50% of the room rate must be paid upon arrival or one week before check-in.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7 business days.
GUEST PROFILE
- Primary guest should be at least 21 years of age.
- Passport, Aadhar, Driving License and Govt. ID are accepted as ID proof(s)
- Pets are not allowed.
- Groups with only male guests are not allowed at this property.
- Guests are requested not to invite outside visitors in the room during their stay.
